God's word is at the heart of all that we do here at Grace Lutheran Church. It is our desire that everyone at Grace finds a bible study to join so that they can dig deeply intothe word of God.
Sunday School is one of the most important hours of the week at Grace outside of worship. There are Bible studies for adults and children of all ages. Sunday School starts at 9:00a.m.
Women's Bible Study
Wednesday Night - Women's Bible Study meets at 6:00p.m. in the conference room. The group covers 4-8 week study programs.
The men of Grace Lutheran Church meet on the Second Saturday of each month for breakfast, prayer, fellowship, and the study of God's word. Come and join this great group of men as we seek to be the spiritual leaders that God has called us to be in our homes, families and churches.
OWLS stands for "Older Wiser Lutherans". The OWLS group is made up of many of our retired members who gather weekly on Wednesdays in the community building for fellowship, prayer, and bible study. Once a month they meet for a meal and program.
Grace Lutheran's Praise Band leads praise worship for our combined worship service on Sunday mornings. The band practices each week on Thursdays at 6:00 pm in the church sanctuary. If you would like to add your voice or musical talent, all are welcome.
The Grace Lutheran Choir is a great group of people who love music and singing praises to God. The Choir regularly adds their voices to the worship services at Grace on Sunday mornings. The choir practices on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm from September to May. Come and add your voice.
Prayer Shawl is a diverse group that meets on the 4th Saturday each month from 10 a.m. – noon in the Community Building. During our meeting times they knit and make gifts for those in need. We also give free crocheting and knitting lessons, and all materials used in our projects are supplied free of charge. Feel free to join us, all ages are welcomed!
The bible tells us in the book of James "Do not simply be hearers of the word, but be doers of the word." At Grace part of our mission is the "Serve the Community". We do this through our Backpack Program, blood drives, and food drives for Manna Foods.
There are times in all of our lives where we need the help of other believers to get through a crisis, a loss, or times of stress. At Grace our Stephen Ministers are trained members who help other Christians through these times with prayer, love and support.
Grace sees that having a vibrant and active ministry to our children and youth is vital to passing on our Christian faith to the next generation. Our youth are very active in fellowship, bible studies and service to the church and community.
